Notable Areas
Look up regions by name or address using the on-device Maps API. You can set up triggers for
- distance to the selected location
- magnitude of the earthquake
- if the earthquake has a tsunami warning
Notable areas are evaluated when the app fetches new data from USGS earthquake feed. The app schedules a background task to refresh roughly every hour but this timing is controled by your device itself so the update time may vary.
